Another lovely January day, crisp and sunny!

The temperature has plunged in the last few days but what better walking weather?! It is crisp and sunny with a few clouds.  These photos were taken on another circular walk which took me past the highest point in Warwickshire at the top of the Ilmington Downs. This is 261 metres or 856 feet above sea level - OK not so high if you come from the Swiss Alps but high for us!  You can see Edgehill, site of the famous battle in the First Civil War in 1642, in one direction,(it is that escarpment on the horizon right of centre) and even the Malvern Hills in the other direction , although it seemed to be raining over there so I didn't take a photo!
