Saturday to Saturday lets are the norm from about April to the end of September and short breaks are only possible in this period if there are gaps close to the time (usually two weeks in advance of the date).
*5 nights are normally the same price as a week
In the autumn and winter, weekly lets (from the end of September to Easter Week) can start on either a Friday, Saturday or Monday, with short breaks running Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday. The minimum stay at weekends and for mid week breaks is normally 3 nights
Weekend nights are Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. If you arrive on Friday and can only stay two nights (there is a 3 night minimum booking period) then you get the full day in the cottage on Sunday rather than having to be out in the morning.
Arrival time is 4 pm onwards and departure 10 am. I can sometimes be flexible on these times if I do not have a changeover of guests that day.
HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING Please email me with a request for dates . I will reply within a few hours (normally, if I am not sleeping or travelling) to give you a quote and answer any questions you may have. If you want to book, I will ask you send me your address so that I can draw up a letting agreement. I would normally expect that to be returned within 48 hours and the transfer of the deposit (£100/ week booked) to be initiated in order to secure the booking. If I don't hear back from you, then I would assume that you are not booking after all and make it available to others.
Payment of the balance is made by BT or UK Cheque 2 months in advance of arrival. You are advised to take out holiday insurance to guard against unforeseen cancellation as the balance payment is non-refundable. However, I will endeavour to relet the cottage, in which case, up to the full balance is refundable, depending on whether I can let part or full time of the period. The deposit remains non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances.
